a self-analysis and goal list

1. Voice (Volume, rate, pausing, emphasis etc)
Reflection:Volume is too small, emphasis is all the time the same and week and low so it gives not cheerful impression. It is not comfortable to listen even just 3 min.
Goals: more confident and cheerful and have emphasis.

2. Body Language (Eye contact, gestures, posture etc)
Reflection: eye contact is little, I used arms meaninglessly, posture is not bad
Goals: do more eye-contact, do adequate gesture simply. Look everyone.

3. Visuals (Images or text on slides, timing etc)
Reflection: too much? slide, but a lot of picture is easy to understand and catch attention text sides was proper. Too long time/ one so it can be boring.
Goals: make timing/ one slide shorter.

4. Preparation Process (Topic selection, notes, visuals creation, rehearsals
etc)
Reflection: I felt Rehearsal should be done since a week ago, at least 3 days, to practice several times. Topic was good because it has a lot of visual images. Notes should be more easy to catch the key-words. This time I used a kind of script rather than notes, so it made me lost.
Goals: make useful notes, which contains keywords, choose topic earlier, learn how to display slides effectively from other people.

12/20 reflection

good points and suggestion of Rei's presentation:
1. good points
-performance of Aikido in the beginning succeeded in catching attention
   -using adequate gesture
2. suggestion
-With screen, the contents of presentation would give more clear impression.

I think the characteristics of good presentation are...

 logical/ eye-contact/ friendly/ clear composition/ clear theme/ adequate number of slide pages

as for bad presentation...

just read material/ not clear goal/ speak too quickly/ contain too many sentence in slide/ do not have content
